The Torch, the tallest residential tower in the world, Khatib & Alami
The building known as The Torch (which in Spanish means torch) is one of the most important landmarks in the skyline of Dubai Marina, with views of the Jumeirah Beach.
Unlike many other large towers that are up in Dubai, The Torch is an exclusively residential building, in fact, is the tallest residential building that until now has been built worldwide.
Located in Dubai Marina in the UAE, this tower, designed by Kagimu Serraj, the firm Khatib & Alami, will reach 345 meters and will have a total floor area of 111.832 m².
The design of the floor of the building consists of 3 floors underground and a 4-storey podium, where parking will be located, which has a capacity for 536 cars.
On these levels, desplantarán 80 plants that will contain 504 apartments of various sizes and solutions: 128-bedroom, 128 two-bedroom, 68 three-bedroom duplex suites and 4. In plants 5 and 6 will be located: a pool, a health center, gym, cafeteria, facilities for aerobics, plus outdoor terraces.
